At the 2025 Laney Graduate School Awards where Shreya received Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant / Associate Award in the Life Sciences! Addisitonally, George (Michailidis Lab) received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award.
- Grace received the BCDB Program Scholar of the Year Award.
- Lexi received the Endowed Keith Wilkinson Graduate Service Award.
- Shreya received the GDBBS TATTO Teaching Award.

2023:
In July, Dr. Sarafianos delivered a lecture at the Global Virus Network’s 7th Annual Short Course in Basic and Translational Virology in Baltimore, MD.
Sarafianos lab sent seven of our members to Athens, GA for the American Society of Virology meeting in June.

May 2nd, 2023: Sarafianos Lab staff participated in a team-building event by playing Friday Night at the ER, a hospital management simulator for a hands-on training in data-driven decision making, effective collaboration, and organizational structure.
